The mothers of success

Our breeding mares have produced a variety of S-jumpers and Grand Prix horses, including licensed stallions. An outstanding example is our breeding mare Varvella by Clearway/Alcatraz, who is the mother of the licensed stallion Barkley by Baloubet, who is currently competing successfully in high-level jumping competitions under the saddle of the breeder’s daughter, Ellen Krezl. Another daughter of Varvella, Brakaschi by Diamant de Semilly, has also been very successful and is now in breeding after the end of her sporting career, where she is already expecting her fourth foal. The majority of our breeding mares have either achieved sporting success themselves or come from families that have excelled in the sport.
